Mission & Values

The Plattsburg Community Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life by focusing on safety, education, beautification, and community involvement.

We are committed to enhancing the safety and well-being of our children through initiatives such as improving walkability and creating safe community spaces to learn and play. Our mission includes fostering a strong sense of community involvement, while revitalizing our historic landscape. Our ambitious endeavors are made possible through generous donations, secured grant funding, and the unwavering dedication of our invaluable volunteers.

Together, we are transforming our beloved city into a vibrant, secure, and welcoming place for everyone to enjoy, while also honoring our rich history.

Founded by Sam Finley, whose family established roots here nearly 100 years ago, the Plattsburg Community Association embodies a legacy of dedication to our town. Although Sam and her family have been permanent residents for only a few years, they have quickly come to call Plattsburg home and look forward to many more years of their children growing up in such a peaceful and wonderful community.
